Science Camp has emerged on the Precious Plastic Global Initiative (PPGI) map as a regional plastic recycling line manufacturer. Science Camp chose the Precious Plastic Global Initiative because it adopts a decentralized, rapid, and localized design to solve the plastic recycling issue rather than waiting for a centralized solution and long-term cultural and social change. The Science Camp has taken on the role of local manufacturing of plastic recycling machines for the global Precious Plastic initiative. The Science Camp provides these machines for direct sale as well as for hosting local schools as science trips where students practice plastic recycling to increase awareness of environmental impact within a project supported by the Embassy of the Czech Republic, and for research purposes to develop and produce building blocks from a combination of recycled plastic and Iraqi sand.
